Wisconsin folksinger Skip Jones is a masterful storyteller, strong vocalist, and a fascinating human being. Skip lives on the banks of the Red River on the Mohican Nation Reservation in Northeastern Wisconsin. A grandfather of 19, he is a natural with children. Skip plays guitar, banjo, and Native American flute. He has over 30 years experience performing throughout the US at libraries, schools, festivals, nursing homes, and community events.

"Skip has performed at the Neenah Public Library, Neenah, WI many times over many years. The variety of shows performed here have demonstrated his ability to connect with audiences of all ages. Skip's warm, friendly style engages people in a sincere and lovely way. People have a great time with old tunes, funny tunes, stories and more.
Skip is a very fine musician, masteful storyteller and an exceptional performer. I highly recommend him for children's programs, intergenerational
audiences, holiday fare, peace and justice issues. We are fortunate indeed to have Skip in our state."
