Cooperation, justice, peace, tolerance, and respect are concepts that have guided the musical life of Skip Jones for 30 years. This is recent release, "Life is Delicious" the 63-year-old-rural Bowler folk musician continues sharing his heartfelt messages.
The new CD is dedicated to the late Roscoe Churchill of Ladysmith, an environmental activist, educator, and music lover. "That was his favorite expression" Jones noted.
The men met through Protect the Earth, a Hayward-based environmental organization that fought the Crandon mine and other environmental battles.
"I admired the man and wanted to pay tribute to him because he was in touch with what's important, especially community and family"
