Wisconsin folksinger Skip Jones is a world traveler, masterful storyteller, strong vocalist, environmental activist, and a fascinating human being.

A grandfather of 19, he is a natural with children. Skip plays guitar, banjo, and Native American flute. He has over 40 years’ experience performing throughout the US at libraries, schools, festivals, nursing homes, and community events.

Audiences enjoy his excitement for life and interactive concerts. Exploring the diversity of cultures and nature, Skip’s performances celebrate our American Folk heritage. His programs are ever evolving and adaptable to most any theme and audience. Truly a man for all seasons, Skip’s performances are always entertaining, educational and inspiring.

Programs are available for children, family, and adults focusing on Cultural Diversity, Respect, Folk Music, Special Needs, Preserving Our Water, and Great Lakes History

Performing Area

Flexible – indoors or outdoors.

Requirements

Armless chair (padded is possible), small table, water.

Fee

Negotiable starting at $300, Discounts for multiple bookings. Lower fees negotiable for small rural libraries, rural schools and all special needs programs.

Travel Range

Upper midwest available year-round.
